EEE-CFCC svilupperà le applicazioni del “Basker”, un nuovo materiale ceramico composito rinforzato con fibra di basalto per il settore dei trasporti e delle costruzioni, nei quali alleggerimento strutturale, coibentazione e resistenza al fuoco ed alle alte temperature sono caratteristiche essenziali. Il progetto prevede la realizzazione di nuovi materiali inorganici termostrutturali e termoisolanti leggeri, sfruttando materie prime seconde.

The project EEE-CFCC is going to develop BasKer’s applications – a new basalt fiber reinforced composite ceramic material for the transport and the construction sector, where the structural weight reduction, the thermal insulation and the fire/high temperatures resistance are very important characteristics. The project involves the realization of new light thermostructural and thermally insulating inorganic materials, using secondary raw materials.
